I live in Scotland and a Toffee through and through. I work as a musician meaning mainly I work at weekends, but I did have one weekend off, and made plans for months to get to the the game at Goodison. Booked a hotel, made plans to meet some Toffees down there who had arranged a couple of tickets for me. Bigged up for weeks before that I was going to the game. It was boxing day. We lost 1-0 to Sunderland. My 100% home record of never having seen the Toffees lose at home was gone. But you know what. It was still magical.

Nothing like going to Goodison. Nothing like it.

I live in Scotland too but I've always supported Everton since the sixties. They just seemed the classiest team around. I went to Liverpool with my wife last year and visited the ground. It was a Tuesday and not much happening but someone had left a gate open at the corner of the stand. In like Flynn and I had a wander round. Even went on the pitch.

On reflection, perhaps security should be a bit tighter!

By the way, I have seen Everton several times when I lived in London, including the Charity Shield match v Chelsea in 1970 (I think) which we won. Never seen them at Goodison though.

I normally get to about 4 games a season home & away and I've not seen us win in 3 seasons!! (A lot of draws mind you). You will all be glad to know I'm over again for the Mau U match!

I only get there very rarely - last one was Saints at home, the match after the boxing day game. Had to go in the Saints end as it was sold out. Was a struggle hiding my delight when Lukaku scored!

I can still remember going up the steps and seeing everyone warming up. People who I looked up to and wanted to be on the pitch with them having a kick about. It was Boss.

I don't get down as often as I'd like due to going to see Morton most Saturdays, but when I do manage to get to a game, I love it.

Hopefully we'll get tickets for the game v Arsenal on April 6th and come down for the weekend.

I get to go once every couple years only.

This season had to choose a game to bring my two younger brothers to for their first game and we chose the Chelsea game! Great fun in the Lower Gladys and just a great day altogether.

They were.hooked on Everton already now they are obsessed. The only way to be.

Still hope to get back for one more before season end.
