One too many sequels

Currently watching Rock IV ... which in my opinion is ace but how many other film franchises milked succes for all it was to the detriment of the original ??? Fast and furious comes to mind... think there’s about 7 now... the Godfather 1 and 2 are modern day classics .. but 3 ... Jesus Christ. Surely there are more out there who’ve milked it.

But the worst offender of all is Marvel. GTF already, these movies multiply worse that acne on a 10th grader.

Jaws was amazing, Jaws 2 was passable, the rest were awful.

Hated the Star Wars sequels ( that were actually prequels) Thought they were dreadful.

However the Star Trek movies are all about the same standard (I'm talking the grown up Capt Kirk ones The Wrath of Khan and all that lot) and I love them all. A bit cheesy, no effort required to watch. awesome. Star Trek 4 featuring humpback whales being my absolute favourite.

Would rather saw my nuts off with a rusty steak knife than watch any of them.

Death Wish, wasnt impressed with the sequels ive seen.
Hows the Texas Chainsaw Massacre sequels? See i loved that film as not too much blood and gore, hows the others? If there a splatter fest they wouldnt appeal to me, anyone seem them?
