I was just having dinner in the galley, watching the T.V. in the background.
I notice the football is on, as per usual Man UTD highlight reel I assume but due to my love of the game I still keep one eye on the T.V. and continue conversation.
Next one screen is a lad from a team in blue scoring a header, usually for a fox sports ad it's Chelsea but then it zooms to a shot of Tim Cahill and I smile a bit because my team is being used as a main highlight.
Next up is the Arteta screamer and I realise it's the highlight reel from the 3 - 3 game that we drew early last season, watching the crowd go wild and then the screen fade away to black and then the fade in of "three days to go". Unbelievable.
Not only did this make me proud to be an Evertonian, but really made me love the fact that our team is held in a high regard in my country, is usually one of the first if not the first on the highlight reels and generally got me pumped for the season.
3 days to go lads.
