Once a blue... Never mind

I honestly believe he's leaving in a sulk as he doesn't like the current blunt management style. He misses the cuddly fuzzy feeling of Martinez letting him make mistakes and have little or no responsibility to the team.

A succession of managers have dropped him, only Martinez elevated him to a pedestal.

It's not his skills, his strength or his talent, he's blessed. He just isn't a clever footballer.

All the best Ross, you won't improve.

...the notion that boyhood Evertonians will want to spend their careers at the club is really too romantic, especially if they are key players who feel other top clubs will want them.

Just because he wants to leave the club, doesn't mean he's not a blue still?!

How many players around the world play for clubs they don't support? How many players have left the club they support. Loads I expect!

All the abuse he gets of not progressing as much as he should have, maybe he feels he can only do that once he's left Everton, after all it's his living, his job? Not just a hobby because he's a blue?!

He's not left the club in limbo.
The club have said sign or be sold, he's informed the club before the summer window opened, it's not his fault that no interested club have come forward. (Valuation a huge problem here)

But maybe fans should question the management style as to why they left it this long to tell us he wanted out?

I've seen a lot more players act worse when wanting out.

I look forward to watching his new challenge of getting into the Spurs/Arsenal/United team.

Good luck with that one lad
