it was done for Blackpool to win it cause it would give them much need regeneration. but some how Manchester won it.

After all the memories of this summer, this is the most depressing story about football this season. A second string club, albeit with a proud history, TBF, GIVEN a world class stadium on the basis of a long term lease and some "promise" of giving some profit if the owners sell the club back to the taxpayer/London residents?

Makes me want to puke.
