Hi i'm coming to the game on tuesday with my 8 year old daughter by car and wonder if any of you could give me some information regarding best place to park for a quicker exit, (my daughter has school the next day). Places that i need to avoid etc, and is there anywhere near the stadium that is suitable for away fans to get something to drink and a bite to eat.

Thanks in advance.

As for the game i'm expecting you to turn us over, but i was more than happy enough to get the replay, the extra income is a lifeline for clubs such as ours.

BRYAN SWAN WHERE A.. wait.

When I am driving I usually park underneath the flyover. There is a car park you can get in for free if your early enough. Failing that the school opposite (Alsop High) does parking but charges around £5 quid I think.

If you get out sharpish enough you can get onto Queens drive then onto the M62 before the rush as it's a straight run.

Not sure about the parking but there is a KFC, McDonalds, Subway, loads of chippies etc 30 seconds away.

Hi mate, if I was you, i'd park at Aintree Train Station, you can leave the car there for free in the designated car park and its secure.

Then its only 3 stops to Kirkdale, which is a 5-10 walk to the ground. Alternatively you could stay on for one more stop and get off at Sandhills and get the Soccerbus. If you did that, you just ask for a return to Goodison at the train station at Aintree and that includes your train and return journey from Sandhills Station to Goodison on the bus.

You get back pretty quick from Sandhills/Kirkdale to Aintree and then you can be off and away in the car - the motorway isn't too far from Aintree either

If you don't mind parking on the road park on St Domingo Road, outside the valley pub facing up the hill. It's a ten minute walk from the stadium but you'll be straight away. If you want a carpark just avoid Priory Road. You'll be there for at least 45 minutes getting out.

...........park at the Hermitage on Queens Drive (for a convenient exit route) or any of the official car parks around Utting Ave/Stanley Park if you want to pay.
Hope you and your daughter enjoy your visit but of course want to see an Everton victory. The area around the ground doesn't offer much but I'd like to think you will get a warm welcome and friendly treatment from the Blues fans.

Sound a bit of a mission to me.He could just come off the M62 onto the M57(assuming he's using M62) then down the east lancs rd and park in stanley park or somewhere like that. Then just hit county rd for food and drinks. Traffic usually clears quite quickly(15-20 mins) around goodison after a match.

Not really coz parking is a nightmare by the ground and for getting away too. He'd be right by the M57 at Aintree.

Do this, get the soccer bus. No messing around on trying to find where to walk; off the train and onto a bus and back again. It'll drop you off at the ground and there are places on county road to eat. It starts early so you can miss the crowds getting to the game. IMO best option for you mate

Don't get train or soccer bus mate, pointless if u r drivin...park anywhere near the ground coz everywhere will be quiet wen u leave after 70 mins...lol! Spoons prob ur best bet for food/drink...pretty sound for kids there as well if u get a table...

...other than that grab a chippy and stand outside an alehouse wiv it like the rest of us! You will be welcome in all pubs as well...we are a friendly bunch!

know what your sayin like, just seems a bit of a mission car, train, bus, bus, train car. Prob good advice like.

Always a good bet going in the Chinese next to the Everton shop mate, hot wok it's called I think.
£7.50 for a meal and a drink and to sit in I think, £5 when taking out.
