Old TV adverts Funny/Mental

Back in the 1970's, I was on an International Management Course for Unilever managers from all across the globe. (3 weeks residential, including week-ends.) One example of successful advertising examples they gave (obviously a Unilever product but can't remember which one) was a toothpaste advert. Apparently, people in those days only put a dab of toothpaste on their toothbrush. The Unilever advert showed the guy covering the toothbrush head with toothpaste. A year later, Unilever were putting their toothpaste factories on three shifts to meet increased demand.

One that always stuck in my mind, like a really poor Netflix horror with a Slipknot sound track

Just about to post this. The most memorable advert of my life for sure.

Oh and the Cornetto advert that turned into a full on soft core scene can’t find it anywhere unfortunately
