Old Stuff that is surprisingly valuable

I was clearing out my old dads roof space / attic / loft and came across all sorts of junk but I found a few things that made me wonder if they had any value.

Went on a well know online auction site and was more than surprised at some of the prices stuff has sold for

Search for Vintage marbles or vintage christmas decorations .. wow! They were going straight to the local tip before I looked

Anyone else found anything that has surprising value that's been tucked away for years?

I had a load of 80`s goalies kits, from when I was a lad, the real multi coloured stuff and got a few bob for that on Ebay.

Apparently people collect this stuff.

Tight arl [Poor language removed] won't spend a penny on anything, also has a profitable sideline as a world renowned inventor using recycled Dyson parts powered by refined chick pea fart gas and he's also a skunk cannabis farmer of some repute, he must be worth a few quid.

I gave all my records to a charity shop when I swapped to CDs. Very sad I did that now.Probably could have got few bob for some of the colooured/picture discs I had.

I sold a load of my records to pay for the Villa League cup final(s), which was bad enough but then when I moved to Virginia I left boxes of them in the attic and some got warped. I threw the lot in a skip. What a divvy.
