I always loved L&H but couldn't stand any other silent and/or slapstick stuff like Chaplin, Three Stooges etc. Not sure what the difference was ... L&H just seemed a class above to me.

Glad "old comedy" was actually kind of old and this wasn't a clip from the 90's.

But in the grand scheme I'd take the modern stuff hands down.

This scene always stayed with me. The skinny one telling everyone 'there's going to be a fight' is brilliant.

That is a brilliant scene, thanks for reminding me of this film. Bought a L&H box set the other week so I'm hoping that film is in it.

Used to watch Marx brothers and Three Stooges on I think Channel 4 late at night. Loved that stuff.
