Considering most of us enjoy coming up with a lineup we'd like to see us field I figured I'd make a thread were we could post our ideas independent of the matchday & transfer window ones.
I'll get the ball rolling.
On the back of last nights game, the transfer window now being closed, and the likelihood that we'll end up comfortably safe from the drop now I'd quite like to see this tried out at some point:
Think this has the makings of a potentially good side. I think with Coleman back we should try and play 'wingbacks' again with Kenny being tried out on the other side and Mangala taking up the left defensive position behind him. Think Klaassen should at least be given a go in the 'no. 8' role next to Gueye to see how he gets on there. Walcott would essentially play as a second striker with Tosun and Sigurdsson cutting inside where appropriate. We'd then still have the likes of Rooney, Niasse, Bolasie, DCL, Vlasic & Davies on the bench to call on if necessary.
