So we had:-
Redshoite 0-2
Chelsea 1-3
Fulham 3-1
Chelsea 1-2
Man U ?-? although many of us will be expecting something of a Manc backlash and a 3-0 defeat.

In a thread at the end of September:-
http://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/t...-be-the-month-that-makes-or-breaks-our-season.

Woolly Blue said win 2, lose 2, draw 1.

Kenada_Blue said 1 loss from the 5.

Toffeetower said win the derby, draw or lose at Chelsea, draw at Fulham, beat Chelsea at Goodison and happy with a point against Man U.

EFCNIK said we're gonna get bummed.

Edge had us drawing with the RS and Fulham and losing the rest.

TheBlueGibbon said we'd end up drawing with the RS through some corrupt refereeing (ambitious there son...), Chelsea away draw, Fulham win or draw, Chelsea win aet, Mancs draw or lose.

Bryan reckoned nil pwah.

Kay20 fancied wins from the derby and against Chelsea at home, a point at Fulham and no hope away at The Bridge or home to the Mancs.

What did you think and does what actually happened change your expectations for the season?

If we don't get beat by Man U I will remain optimistic of a top 7 finish, I did expect more from this month though. Despite the bad results, the only game i truly thought we were not up to scratch was Chelsea away, the other losses were heavily swung by moments of terrible bad luck and refereeing decisions combined.

Woah das a bit scary!
1) What you got for Saturday?
2) Lottery numbers for Euromillions?

Hahaha the minute I actually put money on something mate the exact opposite happens ^^

Besides, it didn't take a genius to work that sequence of results out. Under David Moyes you can literally choreograph every pass we're that predictable.

well we are a point better off than i thought, maybe 4 if we beat unt, nothing really changed for the season between 8th and 12 th anything else a bonus, only thing thats getting me worried is we arnt showing any real form and the longer it goes on the harder the games will become because we will have to win agaist the teams around or below us, we need a bit of a spark to get us going, and hope wigan, wolves, blackburn still are ****e till we reach some sort of form
