Objects thrown at players

A plastic bottle can't hurt a player either. A coin is very unlikely to hurt a player too.

There shouldn't be a distinction - nothing should be thrown on the pitch.

If you do make distinctions, then everyone should bring a beachball to the game and absolutely bombard the place to make a point.

Hahaha - some Kopite bell called James LFC just neg repped me for this.

Read the bold bit you bad whopper then get the feck off an Everton website.

Amazing that it is so easily forgotten that our team captain was physically assaulted at Anfield a few years ago. The perpetrators used being in the crowd at both Heysel and Hillsbrough as an excuse. Surely that would put you off 'acting out'.

I certainly don't condone throwing items on the pitch, but that is some front being called by them and the media when what they have done in the past. Also not mentioned was that items were thrown from the away section before the Rodwell incident, and the Liverpool fans thrown out for attempting to cause trouble within the home fans. Several were removed from the Gladys Street.

Im sorry but all this "they have done it too" crap is bulls**t. I dont care that the Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal fans do it (and 90% of clubs in England will have these fans) they should be dealt with by their own clubs. Whoever is caught throwing bottles and coins on Saturday should be banned for life.

Banned for life. Lol! Talk about a bloodless, passionless response. They hardly harmed anyone did they? The Kopites and their media must love you people. Get behind your own fans FFS.

I pmsl when Bellamy went to take that corner and just got pelted. So wrong, but funny. He's a bellend and totally deserves it. Do wish it wasn't our fans that gave him the rough justice, but it needed to be done lets be honest.

Remember them throwing socks at Baines at the gosling derby. I thought it was toilet paper though, it really looked like it from where I was. Not that it matters though, because it's only meant to be taken as a joke when their fans do it :)

lads we cant condone throwing stuff onto the pitch during a game because whether you like it or not it DOESNT look good....

i think i read above somenone sayin if a coin hit you it wouldnt do much damage.....an unbelieveable statement.....lol

2 wrongs dont make a right !!!!! this is exactly the ammo the F.A needed to cover up the refs f-up....everyones attention should have been on the red card to totally expose the refereering standards towards us and nothing else

Tbf, bottles and coins are intended to hurt. Socks or whatever are just them trying to be funny. Ours was done in fury. Justifiably IMO. When you celebrate at the fans like that you provoke and therefore deserve anything you get. I'm not saying it was right for our fans to react like that, but my god if you were there, you would know the fury about the place. They are even worse in the flesh.

you maybe right they didnt harm anyone this time .....but if this behaviour goes unchecked its a time bomb waiting to happen

we should deal with these situations on what we think is the best course of action and not on what other teams may or may have not got away with in the past
