Obama

He's got balls, something which his predecessors either couldn't spell, or permanently had jammed into young women.

I'll be interested how many of us Yanks jump on here to agree. I'm not a fan, so I guess I'm a right wing nutter. (Beams with pride)

You lids have a nice chat. We'll get a most excellent temperature check of the country in November. It's pretty warm over here right now.

I see what Obama completely but I think it should be swerved.

It's a bit too soon and too raw evidentally for plenty of the families that lost someone.

But then I'm no Presidente.

He's a ******* idiot DaveK. Too bad you can't see it. But then I'm a right wing nutter (as opposed to those compassionate lefties you hear so much about.)

"Brave Decision..."

Can't. Stop. Laughing. He hasn't made one "brave decision" in the first two years of his Presidency. Every decision he makes is tied to his popularity (keeping it up there) and the polls. Not for the good of our nation.

Oh, chew on this one while you're at it. He'll be done in '12. Done.

I love Obama. I actually do. I think he's great. :D

And really of course he has to defend this, it's the 21st century and he's the President, so it's not a shock at all.

But whether I'd be for or against it, is irrelevant because I don't live in America so yeno.

Hahahahaha...yeah, he sure showed BP by "hammering" them.

Obama’s handling of the Gulf oil spill has been weak-kneed and indecisive
While much of the spilled oil in the Gulf has now been thankfully cleared up, the political damage for the White House will be long-lasting. Instead of showing real leadership on the matter by acing decisively and drawing upon offers of international support, the Obama administration settled on a more convenient strategy of relentlessly bashing an Anglo-American company while largely sitting on its hands. Significantly, a poll of Louisiana voters gave George W. Bush higher marks for his handling of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, with 62 percent disapproving of Obama’s performance on the Gulf oil spill.

He's hammered everyone who's livelihood is tied to Gulf drilling.

Obama is loved outside of America. Inside...not so much. Wonder why?

I see you don't like him. Fair enough...but like, everyone has opinions either way.

My opinion is that I own far too many things like books with his face on. I want to meet him. :D

You may get to in 2013 when he's doing touring speeches at $50,000 a pop. Look for him at a university near you.

By the way, it's not that I don't like him as a person. I just think that he doesn't really have his finger on the pulse of this country in terms of his decision making. If he were to clear out some of the people he surrounds himself with that have the sole goal of not doing what's best for this country, but staying in power, then I think he would do a bit better.

Honestly, I want him to do better. If he does, then our country benefits.

Once the unemployment figures start to turn and he can sell a recovery in motion he'll be safe as houses. Everything else is just noise.
