Is this the one that has Sigourney Weaver in it?
 
And his films (District 9, Elysium and Chappie) have all evolved from his shorts haven't they?? I remember reading something about that a while ago.....he was slated to do a Halo movie, then it got cancelled and he used the assets in District 9 or something.
 

Yeh, he was meant to do an Alien film at some point as well but it never happened for whatever reason.

That didn't happen because Ridley Scott took the keys off of him. Basically, it conflicted with what Scott was doing with the franchise.

NB wanted to basically erase Alien 3, have Ripley, Hicks and Newt battling with Weyland-Yutani (and the xeno's).

Hmph.
