Alright lads. Any idea on what the score is for passing an OAP season ticket to friends and family who are not OAP's for a game? Do you have to make up the monetary difference or is it just straight not transferable? Cheers!

It seems that the Terms and Conditions do not mention upgrading an OAP season ticket.

1.19 Any Season Ticket Holder wishing to upgrade their Season Ticket for any particular Match during the current Season may only be permitted to do so at the discretion of the Everton Box Office. Upgrades will be permitted for:
(a) a Kid to a Junior, Youth or Adult,
(b) a Junior to Youth or Adult, or
(c) a Youth to Adult.

Upgrade prices will be calculated in accordance with the individual Match Ticket price minus the pro-rata amount paid when purchasing the discounted Season Ticket. A downgrade policy is not in operation. Season Ticket Holders found guilty of abusing this facility will have their Season Ticket withdrawn (without refund).

Any enquiries regarding these Conditions or the issue of Tickets should be made to the Everton Box Office in one of the following ways:
By post: Everton Box Office, Goodison Road, Liverpool L4 4EL
By telephone: 0151 556 1878. Calls cost 10p per minute from a BT landline, mobile charges may vary, please check with your network provider.

Thanks for the reply. So no one has come across this? I'll call the club, but was hoping someone had experience of this. Everton are boss tho I'm sure it will be OK to upgrade.

It'll be fine mate.

I'm reasonably sure OAP ST concessions are treated like other concessions in that you can upgrade for a particular game and just pay the difference, it's just not as common as it is for the sprogs.

A few years ago I was invited to a game by someone I'd met travelling back from London. He had 2 Main Stand season tickets, for him and whoever he invited to a particular game. Both were OAP tickets - but he simply went to the box office before, and upgraded it. (In the event there was no-one checking as you scan in, but concessions beep and the light is a different colour - much like Underground tickets). So sure you'll be fine.

I think a few people do this - buy 2 tickets and go with random mates each game. Buying the concession ticket makes sense as you can upgrade, whereas if you had a regular ST but took an arl fella, you can't get a partial refund.

I've upgraded them before. Just go to the box office as per previous posters.

I'm not sure if they still do this but sometimes they'll take the season ticket, give you a paper ticket and make you collect the season ticket after the game.

If my old fella ever can't go and I take a mate,I go to the box office, pay the upgrade, they print a ticket out and you leave the season card with them which you pick up after the game.
