It's just that the majority of these protesters are lazy bum hippies who simply don't want to work but come from comfy middle-class backgrounds and are suddenly pissed off that life isn't handed to them on a plate. So they have a massive problem with anyone earning more money than their parents.

Obviously the police aren't blameless and have been incredibly OTT, but to pretend that these protests are anything more than pure stupidity is... well, stupid.

Ask a protester what they'd have instead of democracy and capitalism and they'd just look at you blankly and start smoking some weed and rambling about fat cat bankers for 45 minutes.

My patience is really growing thin with the protesters TBH, they're effectively alienating the people they're trying to represent. The police are bound to act stupidly at times, but I've got to think that someone, maybe not the victims here, incited the violence.

Right now, I can't think of a better alternative to capitalism, but there are ways to regulate the system that are, perhaps, worth looking into. That's as political as I'm going to get on here.
