Afternoon gents,

Anyone recommend somewhere at the o2 or within walking distance for food and a few drinks for me and my missus. Not to formal.
Don't want to be fannying about when i get there.

Cheers

Hello mate. M

There's loads of restaurants inside the O2, but they are a little pricey. Also there are a few just down from the main exit.

What I tend to do is go somewhere like Coventry Garden before the event and head down to Greenwich just before. Always worked for me.

What you seeing?

The boxing on Saturday, i am a man that likes to plan in advance.

How much were tickets for the fight if you don't mind me asking, gutted Bellews fight clashes with the football.

Tickets were 100 each plus 15 booking fee for the first raised level up. Though the first raised levels that you do not have look over the corners were 150. The cheapest tickets were 40 but you may as well watch it at home.

Might check out Greenich for a pint before the o2, anyone been there?

think Tonys on at 8:30 before Groves so i have no chance of the footy put 50 on Bayern a few months ago so would like to have watched it. Might tape it and switch my phone off, but i know i will be taking a leak or something and here someone mention the score.

There are places to eat and drink inside the venue which is out on its own in the middle of nowhere so that's all there is. If you go tovthecwestcend instead first, check on the transport updates to get there cause its notoriously kak when an event is on so leave plenty of time mate.

There's a fantastic Brazilian restaurant in the o2, bit pricey but worth it

Nearest Tube is North Greenwich . on the Jubilee Line ... Four stops back is London Bridge Station, which backs onto Borough Market, loads of pubs and good eateries around and if you look around you'll find something to suit your price. Depending on what time of day you go the market could be open and there's loads of top quality food on offer from street vendors, proper artisan stuff .. lots of decent pubs, some selling beers from all over the world
