Awesome, we've only been to Auckland, planning to come over again some time in the next few years, maybe hire a camper van and go for a drive.

Loads of people do it, even the locals plenty of places to stop. Just take a week off and travel around, it's breathtaking, and pretty cheap.

Especially the South Island - I love it down there but there are no jobs in my area. Might retrain as a sheep farmer.

You have to go down there mate - its something else. The Marlborough Sounds and West Coast were my favourites. Wasnt too keen on Queenstown - was full of 20 year old posh types on working holidays - but Wanaka was pretty awesome. Get a camper and go across on the ferry, that trip through the sounds is well worth the extra time it'll take to get there.

Sounds decent, I had a mate work in Wanaka for a few months, said it was bliss. Definitely one of the most beautiful spots in the country.
Queenstown is basically full of kopite like people to be honest, bloody expensive too I've heard.

Yep very expensive - Arrowtown up the road is worth a visit but yeah give Queenstown the swerve. I ran over a possum there last time. It was probably a kopite possum tho so its all good.
