Not quite another Moyes thread

I'm very surprised if this is true - his tenure has been awful, but I thought with Ferguson still playing a big role they'd give him time.

I do. His comments in the summer were pretty awful - infuriating at the time - but seeing him cowering away in the dugout, afraid to even face the rather unjustified wrath should he make the touchline, and it just felt like we were kicking a man already down. Why do people take pleasure in that?

I've got no problem giving people hell at the match, I f**king love it. Breaking down Gerrard was a personal favourite, but they're the enemy and always have been. Moyes gave us alot. 11 years of good service. He's got an ego - one of his main downfalls - and has his limitations, but he's getting it from all angles pretty relentlessly. I don't feel good about chucking Everton fuel on the fire.

True, I'm not a fan of kicking a man when he down

He likes to have complete control at a club, no chance of that at Newcastle or Spurs.
Villa or Sunderland (should they remain top flight) would be possibilities.

He might take a break from football for now and wait for the right job

True. Although you become yesterday's news very fast in football. He hasn't exactly got the profile of a Guardiola and would be taking a break on the back of failure rather than success. You would think a winner would need to prove it rather than sit on a beach.

It's across a few different news sources now, including Sky Sports. Conflicting reports that he has/is about to be sacked.

A few Man Utd mates have chirped up asking would we have him back.........is satan skating to work?

I agree about the issues with Director of football, especially at Spurs. Hadn't considered Newcastle and wonder if the compo package for Pardew would be too much at the moment. From some of the reports, I think he thinks he's above the likes of Villa and Sunderland and most probably Newcastle too.

i don't see moyes being offered a top job in Europe....despite media speculation when he was with us, no German club ever came in for him....so they certainly won't now....

i think Celtic is a big possibility if Lennon gets offered a job in England....might be the only country he can win something in...

No chance of any Premiership club taking him on after this season. IMO only place where he will get a job is north of the border.
