Not quite another Moyes thread

After another fine tactical display from Senor Martinez over our previous manager and reading reports over the weeks about the possibility of Utd sacking him, it got me to thinking about where he would possibly go and where he could potentially cause us damage.

It stuck with me that Spurs are probably in the market and I wonder if they may go for Moyes in the summer should Utd lose faith? As a paper squad, they should have been faring better than they actually have, but would Moyes have done better for them? Would he make the difference or would it be a case of more of the same defensive tactics?

Had Spurs not squandered their Bale money on frivolous buys, we could have been looking at a different season and with the right person at the helm, they could be a concern for next season.

This is defo another Moyes thread.

But the thought of him leaving a destroyed United to go and destroy Spurs is quite funny.

LOL

If he get fired, I could see a few clubs fighting over him, such as Sunderland, Villa and Newcastle and even Norwich if they say up. They will want him to do what he done for Everton.

A few years ago I thought we had a special manager but he could never get us over the final hurdle such as the f.a cup final, the f.a cup semi against the rs, massive games in the league.

No 'top club' will touch him. Not now. He'll have to rebuild his reputation.

He will do well building a team up, but his mentality will hold him back from ever consistently challenging for trophies.

After one year at spurs Wengers contract may be up as well, move their for a season, shift over to chelsea to replace the new man utd manager mourinho, before coming back to Manchester for a real big club in city and finally across the park to replace the new Ireland manager rodgers, on my count 6 years were winning the league lads

No danger of Moyes getting the Spurs job.

Never mind that. We need Moyes to take over Anfield.

Think he'll end up in Germany if he gets the boot, I remember him saying how he wanted to go to the Bundesliga eventually

Don't think I would ever say this but I actually feel sorry for Moyes.
I do. His comments in the summer were pretty awful - infuriating at the time - but seeing him cowering away in the dugout, afraid to even face the rather unjustified wrath should he make the touchline, and it just felt like we were kicking a man already down. Why do people take pleasure in that?

I've got no problem giving people hell at the match, I f**king love it. Breaking down Gerrard was a personal favourite, but they're the enemy and always have been. Moyes gave us alot. 11 years of good service. He's got an ego - one of his main downfalls - and has his limitations, but he's getting it from all angles pretty relentlessly. I don't feel good about chucking Everton fuel on the fire.

OK, so maybe it is another Moyes thread ;0)

I hope he does move to Germany as the thought of him coming good at another Premier League team would be a bitter taste to swallow. A bit like selling one of our players to a rival, I'm always on tenterhooks that it won't come and bite us in the ass.
