...could you ever, EVER have seen a manager like Royle or Kendall shooting themselves through both feet like that to include some washed up, broken down crock like McFadden?

He's dropped some bollocks in the past, but that has to be top of the pile. And he and his spin doctors can **** right off if they come out with some bullshit about 'family matters' re Drenthe.

Is pure cnjucture. We don't even know if he would win us the game. The bottom line is, this is just a scapegoat, and we need to concentrate that our first 11 never did thier job.

We need leadres. Arteta left us and we sold off Johnson. those two were the key for us to defeat thos lot.

Wouls Drenthe have changed it that much - still agree he should have been on the bench.

I think the problem was bigger than that... second best to everything second half, if Carroll was any good he would have bagged a hat trick -

it feels like an end of an era today - cahill, distin, neville, moyes?...

biggest missed opportunity under moyes's reign IMO.

dead right. unfortunately it is an iron rule of football that DM always bottles it against LFC. Another iron rule is that he is suspicious of talent that he does'nt understand.

10 minutes to go against LFC and he looks at his bench and hey the answer its that crock of ****; Hibbert.

You're 1-0 up at HT and things haven't exactly been great. What a situation you could have had turning to Drenthe and telling him to go and pop a few at that GK from distance and run them ragged.

The feller denied US that option. A stubborn man beyond all reason.

And that's why he'll never, ever win anything with us or anyone else for that matter.

doesn't matter fact is Everton can't beat liverpool didn't matter if he had to start we still would
have lost that second half display tranmere would have beaten us.(n)

He's obviously finished at our club and there will be a reason such as drugs or something for it that we're just not aware of yet.

You're spot on Davek.

I can't fathom why he wasn't there. Gotta be a reason (that makes sense)

They'll create one Bill. Moyes wont want criticism. It'll be the 'family' stuff again.

I hope Royston comes out and tells us what happened himself.

Reason? Mores doesn't fancy him and has a "liability"

But, so were the reliable set of bottlers out there today and not one of them could change a game like drenthe could.

Zero pace or attacking threat on that bench compared to the rs bench.

Guess who won

Did you see Drenthe against Sunderland? He was good. Ran his little legs off and was everything that MC Fadden was'nt. I thought to myself that he would be great at Wembley.

Who cares if he takes drugs, is a Nazi or beats his wife?. He is our best winger and had to play a part.

I admire DM for everything he has done working with liar Kenright but he lacks the imagination to be a top manager.

Drenthe is a liability, having a 24 year old Kanchelskis on the bench wouldn't have made up for the complete cataclysm that constituted the confidence and calmness of the second half no show.
