None matchday parking rules around BMD.

Street end man

Player Valuation: £35m
Apologies if i missed the answer to this in the massive "new stadium" thread lads.
We need to go there twice in the next few weeks.
First off is to pick up a couple of shirts at the new shop.
Obviously no parking yet at the ground,so i am asking did the council actually scrap the draconion no parking anywhere near the ground for none match days?.
ie, can you just park anywhere as before as long it is not on yellows on none match days.
Secondly. Our semi regular haunt of the Taipan is now a NCP.
Anyone know how this works for supermarket and restaurant customers?
Do you pay and get it knocked off the bill?.
As an aside and only asking out of curiosity....how will their business fare on a matchday when carpark will be rammed with match goers. Where to their customers park?
Thanks.

Yes, you can park for up to 4 hours around the ground on a non-matchday. There are a couple of good spaces, but they are limited:

  • Outside the new Bluehouse
  • Fulton Street (just don't block a door)
  • NCP at Taipan - just pay on an app
  • Outside Bramley Moore Pub
  • Costco (if you can walk it)
  • Few spots around 10 Streets Social (but again, be wary of any business restrictions)
