Nowhere near as satisfying as winning the title during a game which was a shame for Leicester considering the achievement it was.

I would think better. At least you aren’t stood there getting taunted by 10 or 30 or 70 thousand fans at the moment you go down.

Nowhere near as satisfying as winning the title during a game which was a shame for Leicester considering the achievement it was.

That’s kind of my point. It really takes the shine off things although as some have said, I’d take a non match day title win anytime.

I find it quite funny that Mourinho probably instructed his players to take it easy against West Brom and oops an upset hands city the title when everyone is doing something else.

Takes the shine off peps boys success I think.

Didn’t Blackburn lose their match, but still end up with the title, on the last day of the 94/95 season? That would have been a slightly weird feeling, a bit like winning trophies on penalties but not actually winning the game itself. Could handle a bit of that though TBF - I’d happily take any trophy win.

Good memory mate. Blackburn lost 1-2 to Liverpool at Anfield on the last day of the season I think.

Other highlights from that season were:

Big Dunc for us and the cup win.

Cantona Kung fu practice on fans at Palace for United,

Dennis Wise going to prison, then not (Chelsea),

George Graham getting done for bungs for Arsenal,

“Nayim from the half way line..” for Real Zaragoza.

Epic. Footy is [Poor language removed] now. It was so much more outrageous back then hahah! Now it’s all historical comments on Twitter and hangings.
