Player Valuation: £6m
Worth a punt @ £149.99 at O2? a saving of £180!
At the moment I am still using a Nokia 6700s which has an aluminium casing which seems bulletproof compared to these newer
Smart phones!

Its alright, screen cracks quite easy though and very expensive to replace.
Although i did get it free on a £15 month contract with O2 ;)

I'm pretty sure the reduction is due to the Lumia 900 coming out soon, so you may want to wait for that or get a bit of a bargain, up to you.

£150 is pretty good though.

Don't do it. I had a nightmare on Orange - with the screen going blank in calls due to a software issue that they could not fix. After 3 months they agreed to cancel the contract - got a Galaxy S2 now. So much more user friendly.

great phone. dream machine just got a dud.

The 800 is being rwplaced by the new 820 which will be runni g Windows.Phone 8 and have a higher res screen.

Unfortunately not true, the 820 is still stuck with an ancient 800*480 display !

To OP i would wait for a few weeks until the Lumia 820 and 920 hit, the 820 is the replacement for the Lumia 800/900 and will most likely knock the price of the Lumia 800 down some more.

The 800 is a very nice phone, but you won't get much in the way of updates in the future. Still a cracking replacement for your current phone though !

You're right, I was thinking of the 920 which gets a generous bump in resolution. And Nokia has come out and said WP8 will not be coming to the 800 and 900. So the most you will get for updates would be from your carrier or minor bug fixes.

All the new Lumias are 4.8 though aren't they. I'd have gotten one if they where smaller FFS.
