The future is the most important thing, as you say. You feel a new regime would be stuck twiddling their thumbs achieving nothing on the stadium issue. I say that even the chumps currently 'running' Everton ensnared two stadium development partners and that different people would have made different governance decisions to turn those opportunities into gold. There's a way forward if there's (new) leadership on the stadium issue.

I hope you're right on that one Dave, as the need to resolve it, is slowly turning into a necessity as the Old lady is starting to age less gracefully of late. It could of course help that aim, if our current major shareholders weren't looking for a 4 or 5 fold increase on the their investment. If the reported £150M asking price became £70M but with the proviso that the new owners invested £80M cash in the infrastructure, then Bill could have a stand named after him for me like........

That's it in a nutshell. mate: the (realistic) fear that the price they're putting on shareholding is off putting. It would be incredible and a huge pisstake if that lot were looking to get even twice their money back on the money they initially put forward. Not sure of the compound interest they might have stood to gain from keeping it in a bank, but even if it was a hefty one they still desrve nothing but a boot in the bollocks and the chance to leave town otherwise unscathed given the off-field state they'd leave us in.

Wait, we only have 12 corporate boxes? I did not know that. You get more boxes in stadiums over here ffs, that's terrible.
