Sharpys top lip

Player Valuation: £60m
On days like today. There's not another ground in Britian that rocks like Goodison. The noise was phanomanal. Was mayhem when we scored the last 2.

I know we need to move. But Goodison is second to none....

you haven't been to torquay united when its cider night

plus we wont be moving for awhile so i hope i get to sample a big game win soon.

You're depressing me Sharpy lid, I miss the Old Lady...

When the weather's good, the sun is shining off the grass at that perfect angle, the crowd's up for it and the game's going well you get hit with those moments of clarity and everything is in its right place.

*wipes a tear*

we dont need to move, GP can and will be renewed. new built stadiums in england are notoriously bad for atmosphere etc - the powers that be are coming to realise what we have NOW, and with modernisation it can be truly something to be proud of

Its looking increasingly likely that they'll renovate Goodison tbh

I think the club have now took on board that any move outside the city boundaries would be a nonstarter for a significant margin of the support, and that any redevelopment or alternate stadium design would need 100% support of the fans to make it viable and within reasonable timeline.

My view is if LCC are cooperating - and we get compulsory purchases on goodison road area, then renovation would be feasible.

The club also have that new consultant looking at that.

If the club can link that to the Anfield re-generation project (expanded) then, the infrastructure (a big cost) could be paid by LCC and the EU?... its all political but fingers crossed.

I know Fergie bashed the changies last season, but even he said its a proper football ground, steaped in history, that kicks out an intimidating atmosphere.

When its quiet, its like a funeral. When its alive, its a monster

I wouldnt say that really. Stoke's Britannia Stadium can be deafening.

the only new ground i`ve been to is man citys- wasnt impressed. a bolton fan wrote to the echo to say hes regretted moving to the reebok and EFC should stay at GP if possible.

Who was in the Rodwell mellee at the end? I tried to get there but it was either sneaky boob rub or tweaking old smooth thighs nipples. I was caught in two minds, but I kind of got over there for it.
