No signings new owner?

I've just had a brief conversation with a friend of mine (who's not interested in football) who was at a function with our beloved chairman several weeks ago. During the course of the conversation, Mr Kenwright informed him that the fans don't realise how bad things are. He has nothing but praise for Moyes who apparently doesn't like Big Vic!

Got to say that there's no new news here. In my opinion, Mr Moyes is the glue holding everything together. As a fan, I do have an inkling that things are bad but I also strongly suspect that Kenwright's incompetence is a major cause of the problem.

We're in a 'catch 22' situation people. The only way it'll change is if we get a competent owner or the manager leaves. God help us if it's the latter.

So, why would anyone want to buy a PL club?

If you're a Sheik or Abramovic, it's for fun. For everyone else, it's generally for profit.

The trouble with the first group is that they generally don't give a rats arse about the club, only the prestige it affords them. The trouble with the second group is that they want & need the profits almost from day one. When it doesn't happen the way they need it to, they panic a little & close their wallet, compounding their problem.

I just wish it truly was a People's club, where we were all shareholders interested in one thing, success. I don't pretend to have the first idea as to how that would go, but so long as the person running the club actually supports the club, then I think we're a chance...

BK is a massive blue....we still have no money

Yes, and if I were running it, we'd have even less. The point is that I would rather a genuine supporter of the club than someone who doesn't care if the club fails, so long as his money's safe. This isn't a post supporting BK, but I respect that he IS a true supporter...perhaps not the one we need, but a blue nonetheless.

Fair play, i agree id rather have a blue in charge than be a sell-out club, just not Blue Bill!

Isn't that most owners? none of them "love " the club but run it as a business.

Isn't that what we need, someone to run us like a successfull business?
