This is the key to our poor form. The inability to see out a game, not only today but against Fulham, Reading and Newcastle.

To not have kept a clean sheet for 2 calender months in all competitions shows there is something seriously wrong with the defence and it's criminal that this hasn't been addressed.

when we fail to convert as many chances as we do, we can't take a 'we'll score more than you attitude into games with laxed defending'.

wondering what the hell has happened to Johnny H and Distin this year, good job jags is playing fairly well bacause he's playing for 2 men.

That's generally what you'd expect when eleven surrender monkeys, led by Captain Surrender on the touchline, decide to bottle it for 45 min every single game mate.

Apart from Sland, I can't remember us having a good 2nd half.

Villa we were crap against 10 men, same with Swansea, yesterday the same as with Reading and Wigan and QPR (10 men I know)

There must be something happening behind the scenes as it happens to often. We need to score 2 every match and sometimes 3 just to be safe as we bottle it every time.

We are going to pay for this crap run if form in the next few weeks as I struggle to see where the points will come from

I can understand us sitting back against these when we were 3-0 up to save energy and avoid any unnecessary injuries or tweaks (apart from Gibson FFS) but you simply can't play like that when only 1-0 up or drawing for 45 minutes as it's asking for trouble. This is where substitutions make a massive difference. If Barkley had come on on the 70/75 minute mark yesterday it would have given Norwich something different to think about as they knew how we were set up and how it wasn't going to change until a sub was brought on.
