No #9 or #10?

wearing 22 worked well for him last season, so why change it to 10. I remember one season after Gravesen left, Lee Carsley switched to #16 and played ****e, then the next season he went back to his old #26. Tiny superstitions.

If it was me I'd choose #69, but it's not so I won't.

Now honestly though who really cares what is happening with #9 and #10 ffs??

good point!

We all know its likely, and by likely I mean 100% certain, that Gibson, Fellaini, and Neville are all going to line up in the center of the midfield for us this year, but I think we can all agree that none of them are what we would call the creative type.

I think Plan A is Fellaini and Gibson sat behind Naismith, with Fellaini given license to go forward when we're chasing a goal. I also think we'll see a genuine attempt to promote Junior and Barkley to the first team this season, going by comments Neville made about squad depth a week ago when he mentioned both by name (assuming Barkley isn't loaned out).

Hopefully the relative lack of options in center mid compared to the last couple of years means Osman finally gets a decent number of games there. He's always done great for us when asked to play in the center. I'd also be interested to see Pienaar tried in the middle to see if he can make good on the comparisons to Luka Modric which he drew last season.

I can't remember us having so many attacking options. The signings of Pienaar, Naismith and Mirallas allow us to line up in a bunch of different ways this season.

A marketing master stroke!!

It would be indeed. Sadly, I think that the new signings may mean that DM won't pursue the Donovon transfer any further. Penut on the left with Guaye as cover, Mirallas on the right with Coleman as cover and Naismith and Jealvic as two strikers doesn't seem to leave much room for Donovan. Shame though, he's a terrific player and seems to give the squad a real boost and we usually play better with him on the pitch, so I hope I'm wrong and LD is still on the agenda.

i think even with them names you mention landon would be fairly certain to get a start here if he came back prob on the right with miralles up with jela and naismith on the bench
