I honestly thought that with the signing of Kevin Mirallas we would see the #9 or #10 jersey handed out to him. More so the #9 jersey than the number #10 jersey. Though him receiving neither of the jerseys makes me wonder what David Moyes has in mind for the rest of the transfer window. It clearly shows us that Landon Donovan will definitely be back sometime this season. Word going around GOT is either January or November as you all know. The real question is what does he have planned for the #10 jersey. He gave it to Royston last year, which as we all know did not pan out. Does this say to anyone, other than me, that Moyes is planning to bring in a more creative type of central midfielder? We all know its likely, and by likely I mean 100% certain, that Gibson, Fellaini, and Neville are all going to line up in the center of the midfield for us this year, but I think we can all agree that none of them are what we would call the creative type. These players certainly have not filled the void left by the selling of Arteta to Arsenal last season. I honestly have no clue what player Moyes would be bringing in to take on the role, but before the window closes in September I would love to see someone brought in to fill that centrally creative void left by Arteta. I really hope we see a new, and permanent, #10 at Goodison Park this season.

Thoughts?

I'm far too hammered to read that.

Can someone paragraph it or provide a one line summary please?

- Us not having a #9 must mean that we're getting Donovan back.
- Us not having a #10 must mean that we're about to sign a striker or creative midfielder.

He said something about the grass being too long to play on, and David moyes is going to have the number 10 shirt this season.

Paragraphs are your friend

I had assumed that Pienaar was getting #10 but guess not? Either Pienaar really loves #22 or maybe Moyes has someone in mind for #10.
