Why is this young lad on the bench when it seems obvious the manager has no intention of using his pace and ball crossing ability. These are the qualities which are so obviously lacking at the moment yet the "greatest manager" this club has ever employed chooses not to utilize them Just a thought !!

well he’s a left back. Can’t put a young kid with no premier league experience at left wing based on a few league cup games.

I understand he’s got potential but unless he can play centre midfield or right wing, I wouldn’t advocate him playing.

To be fair he had looked excellent previously and they were all garbage that day at Newcastle,he just appears to have been bombed out on that one performance!!

He was even that bad either, got doubled up on a few times but considering he had Gomes as a winger in front of him that’s no surprise.

He wasn’t “utterly terrible” at all. He was just very quiet and offered little on the day, same as everyone else in a blue shirt.
He’s deserved more opportunities.
