Nike +

Morning all

Had an ipod and sent it back due to technical fault and apple have sent a new nano instead of old style. It has Nike+ on it and I do regularly run. Was thinking about buying the sensor for my running shoes so i could use the informaiton that it figures out.

I currently use mapmyrun.com to check distance and pace etc and it is quite good. Does anyone on here use Nike+ and would they recommend it for training? Is it accurate? I have read some reviews that say it isnt that accurate. I also use regular trainers and not Nike+. Does it work as well in a holder on the laces?

I use Adidas +++, The brand with the 3 +'s.

& I cant surf the desktop version whilst wearing them, they also have a clock on the laces......

My wife uses it and loves it. Think it's pretty accurate.

It works...pretty accurate, though not sure if you are using the lace holder...

Looks ok to me. They have a good demo video on the Nike website. I think it's mostly aimed at the 'working out' crew, but looks very handy for those who are into serious training too.

Oh...fyi...I heard the lace holder inaccuracy part from a Nike employee (used to be in that biz)...so take that for what it's worth...probably only saying that to sell more of their own product.

Looking at exercising hard over summer, got like 4 months off. Getting some new running shoes with my hard earned government funded money. Would people recommend nike+ or that adidas micoach or something?
