Next week's internationals

Stupid idea but next week there is a full schedule of international friendlies - meaning that some of our players will be playing for their countries just 3 days before the trip to Spurs.

Shane Duffy is in the Ireland U21 squad to play Austria on August 9. Victor Anichebe and Joseph Yobo are in the Nigeria squad that will face Ghana at Vicarage Road Watford, also on Aug 9.
Timmy Howard is in the USA squad to play Mexico in Jurgen Klinsmann's first game in charge. Bily's Russia are playing Serbia.
Seamus Coleman in the senior Ireland squad to play Croatia on Aug 10. Timmy Cahill will be playing in Cardiff for Australia against Wales.
England have a friendly v Holland on Aug 10. Eng squad not announced yet but Bainesy and Jags will hope to be involved. John Heitinga is in the Netherlands squad.

he is in the squad mate , he didn't play in a couple last year to have a proper rest over the summer but he is playing v wales

The positive thing atleast is that Vic, Cahill, Bainsey, Jags and Johnny will be staying in Britain. Just thinking who Spurs might lose.
