What are people expecting in the next 5 league games and what is realistically achievable? After that we have the Derby at Anfield where there is obviously no point turning up. I think the next 5 will tell us a lot about the squad and whether we are truly in a relegation battle or whether there is some hope that we can get ourselves out of this mess before January and then try and make the best go of it we can from January to May.

Watford - Home
Crystal Palace - Away
Southampton - Away
West Ham - Home
Huddersfield - Home

As it stands, I expect us to take 6 points from 15. I think we will get a point against Watford at home, a point at Palace, lose to Southampton, draw against West Ham and beat Huddersfield. Think that's the minimum we need to be aiming for and think we really need to avoid defeat against Palace, West Ham and Huddersfield as I expect they will potentially be 3 of the teams fighting to stay up at the end of the season.

Any less than that and I think we are in serious trouble. But I also think the fans need to calm down a bit over relegation at this stage. Unsworth has had 1 week to work with the squad and we don't know who we're going to bring in full time yet. Think we need to give it these 5 games before pressing the panic button yet, especially as there are some poor teams in those 5 we have to play.

Obviously the season is a complete write off in terms of progression but we are in this position for a reason so will have to accept it.

We need at least two wins for me, and anything else we can scrape. I expect a new manager after the international break. I suspect it goes like this, Mosh wants Tuchel or a Pellegrini type, Kenwright wants a Dyche or Unsy to stay in charge.

10 points 3 wins a draw and 1 defeat! Then we will be in the top half and we can rubbish this 'relegation fight' nonesence

If it was the real Everton at least the 3 wins at home ,but who the heck knows anymore

Think that died the moment we failed to replace our 25 goal a season striker and the transfer window slammed shut!

The positive is that Coleman and Bolasie are edging closer to returning and as is Barkley. I'd do everything we can to keep Barkley now. He is not without his flaws but he is still a very good player in my opinion and has something that most of our team don't have. Pace, and a desire to drive forward and create chances.

Those games are all winnable for us if approached in the right way, and the right players are used. Sadly I see three draws and a win. However, if in those three draws and a win we don't concede a goal... then that will be a big positive because we really need to plug our defence up.
