COUNNNNNTTTTYYYY! Great atmosphere at Rodney Parade. The past few decades since the 80s this City has been trodden on with industry leaving and nothing to replace it. Problem being, it happened with our football team too.
Was immense going to Wembley and seeing us promoted to the football league. Last game last season staying up by the skin of our teeth too. But hopefully this cup run will go towards a new training ground, solidifying our financial future (not great since our owner Les Scadding left) and maybe even look towards getting our own home stadium.
Everton come first, but after the derby Friday, today was a little nicer to see. While the Premier League is in a stagnant state and we seem unable to even break the 'top 6,' seeing lower level football at least gives a bit more hope. Bet @kempo is thrilled too!
racistthat trip to Wembley was one of the best non-Everton football days of my life, hearing the entire ground boo the english anthem especially
just a shame both Welsh sides couldnt go up, and that Brett Ormerod missed that sitter at 0-0
