They were good 5 years ago. Last 2 years their prices have gotten crapper and now I'll go with Monoprice or Microcenter before NewEgg

It's their service that trump everyone. They are still pretty darn close on prices though.

They don't operate stores...they've got eCommerce down to a science, though. If they fail it'll be down to the European market not taking to them, not their business acumen.

Big reason why I used them here in NY is no tax, but that won't be the case in the UK

Even Amazon have beat them on price with tax on occasion - would never have happened in the past

Also their sales used to be on really good stuff, now its like most other places - sales onstuf fyou don't want, or the lower quality stuff, or stuff nobody needs anyway Lol.

Honestly it may be cheaper for someone to get a US member to buy it on NewEgg and ship it to them from the US than to buy frmo the UK version with all the taxes and stuff that will be added on

Amazon is an odd one.. I bought a cable extension lead for some headphones the other day, with free postage.. And the actual cost to post it to me was more than I paid for it.
Go figure.
