They're potentially the key fixtures as Swansea now seem to have enough leeway to consider one or two more wins to keep them relatively safe.

If they lose to Leicester on Monday and then lost those fixtures then they're four and three points behind respectively. That opens the gap up.

I think it now all boils down to how they compete against Sunderland as they're typically strong on the run in.
I think you are correct. Damn shame they had to change Manager now. They may be inspired.

I even brought in a Newcastle defender for my Fantasy Football team as I can see exactly that! For all I dislike Rafael, he's a competent manager.

If they'd had kept McClaren then I was certain that they would have gone down; looking at the same table now, I am really not so sure they will.

We can only hope I guess though... Newcastle going down will be marvellous. Rafael being the manager at the time would be a beautiful bonus.

Newcastle are a mess. I think pretty much any manager would struggle to keep these up with ten games to go. In fact according to Sky, no manager has ever kept a side up when being appointed at this point in the season. So he'll have done a good job if he does. Frankly I can't see it though. I think the three to go will be Villa, Newcastle and possibly Norwich or Sunderland.

A bit odd to sign a chequebook manager at this stage...hes so hit and miss with his signings as well. Would need a couple of hundred million to get them to mid table i think with half his signings or more being disasters.

I have to say that he's a good manager, but he also likes to spend money. He'll split if they go down and if he keeps them up I would be shocked if stays a month after the fall transfer window closes.
