It's a long and not particularly interesting story I'm afraid mate. No internet and family stuff for starters combined with tying up work stuff for the place I'm leaving and forging onwards with new job. Hence my hopeful Newark thread lol

It's a Kopite overspill town for people who find Winsford a bit too learned and up itself. If you see a cat with a tail, it's a tourist. No foxes, though - they can't get a look in for all the Reds rummaging through the bins.

Don't really know Newark but did look into it when browsing rightmove for my house search. I've decided on Witham St Hugh's which isn't too far from Newark, but I just wanted to be close to Lincoln for work purposes. A couple of colleagues say Newark is ok, but nowt special.
