Hi Guys,

I'm off to NZ first week of March for two weeks for work. I've got two weekends to myself though whilst there and want to make the most of the trip. Anyone been/live nearby who can recommend things to do. I have a car so anything upto and around 100 miles away is good.

Cheers

No mate, can't help you never been there.

If you want to do the same in Swindon, though, I'm your man.

Wait.... Recommend things within 100 miles you say? Nah. Nothing to recommend that close.

Apart from exit roads. Some good exit roads.

There's only really Wellington and Mt Taranaki within a that sort of range.
@Elong Thats down your neck of the woods.

Palmy windy and boring as I recall. Uni city. Head to Wellington or Taranaki as suggested above. Weather in Hawkes Bay will be nice if you fancy a wine tour. And if you see my ex, smash her lad

As above, Welly or Taranaki. Also consider visiting Tongariro/Ruapehu (the two mountains). Google the Tongariro crossing, it may be something you're interested in.

The Hurricanes are playing at home on March 4th in Wellington. Good quality live sport, and a chance to watch Beauden Barrett, best player in the world.

Ask yourself what would you do with two weekends away from the missus and kids, with no chance of ever getting caught.

The location is irrelevant.

If the answer doesn't involve brasses and lemo, I'd be very disappointed.

If you went looking for brasses and lemo (outside of Auckland), you be very disappointed.
