Going for the first time in June for five days. Any recommendations on things to do whilst over there, other than the obvious sight seeing.

I was considering going to see the Yankees (admittedly I don't know the first thing about Baseball), doesn't look to expensive.

Good places to eat and drink would be good aswell

Carriage ride in Central Park , plus spend another 3 or 4 hours wandering around the park
Walk the Brooklyn bridge
Do the hop on hop off bus tour
Dinner cruise at night to the Statue of Liberty ( spirit cruises )
Shopping
Empire State Building
Ground zero
There’s a new garden walk on an old abandoned railway line ( I’m doing that next week )
Go and see Grand Central Station

Food and drink is dear ( 8/12 dollars a bottle + tip ) so be prepared
As I said I’m going next thurs for a week
The weather should be great in June
Wear comfortable walking shoes

We had stopped for a pic with Minnie Mouse and tipped her
Spider-Man jumps into the pic and when I didn’t tip him chased us down the street
