Anyone got any cheap ones for about 5, 6 or 7 nights? They are all like a grand, be arsed lad.

Also any ones in San Francisco would go down well if anyone knows any gems.

Nice one kids.

IM WALKING HERE
GET THE FCK OUT OF HERE
CAN I HAVE MUSTARD ON MY HOT DOG
CAN YOU TELL ME THE WAY TO TIME SQUARE

Just a few phrases to help you fit in with the locals mate.

I stayed there last time I was in NY, mate. Nice hotel. Out of my budget though :(.

Am doing 5 months in California this summer doing Football coaching (I'm the next Mourinho like) then got about 7 nights booked in for New York at the end of it, I've already been so I'm thinking about going to either Philly or Boston for a couple of nights in between. Anyone think this is a good idea or would you just stay in NY?

Since you've been to NY, and presumably know the lay of the land and have done some stuff already, you may want to look at Hoboken and Jersey City to save money, making sure you are a short walk to PATH or ferry. However, I wouldn't do this if you are going to be ending each night drunk at 3 am, as the logistics would suck. Hoboken is a fun town if you stay there and want to hit it local for a night.

Boston > Philly in my opinion, but Philly is closer. If you are based in NY just take an early am train to philly and stay one night. More or less same drill for Boston.

am going on the 28th may, staying in yotel, its japanese and looks like staying in space, in reality it will be cramped and annoying!
