That's nearly 8 stone. I've gotta shift 4.5.

I'm not liking the look or sound of that. Giving some serious thinking to inventing some identities and stockpiling a load of introductory mounjaro offers and becoming a right nark.

If you can lose on average 2kg per week you can do it in 25 weeks.

My mates a PT/nutrition bullshiter and we've worked out a plan

Count calories, stick to 1800-2000 cals per day.

Ive just had this for my tea
20260101_224914.webp
Chicken patties with guacamole, both homemade, in a pitta

Each one comes in at around 350 cals.

600-800 cals for tea

Then ive got these ready meals which are 360 cals to 470 cals.

Im having 1 a day in work. And a breakfast worth 400-600 cals.

Im bored writing this but I need to do it

2kg is 4.4 pounds. That's nearly 2/3 of a pound a day. I'd need to be sparing tyson fury then anthony joshua for about 8 hours a day every day to get to there. And those chicken patties look super tasty with shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and chili.

I need to find a way of exercising whilst I sleep. Can beat me to death while I'm unconscious, I don't care.

That makes me feel so much better .. sorry 😂. I’ve signed up for a 25k run in August, I have 7 months to lose 2.5 stone and build my running fitness and distance up, should be achievable fingers crossed

Please remember that things like losing weight & getting fitter are long term goals.

People have good and bad days. Think of it as an average. If you can have 4 “good” days a week you are over 50% and doing well.

We have bad days. We have bad weeks. Don’t beat yourself up or give up over them.Try and figure out why to it was a bad day/week and if you can do anything to make it less bad.

Just keep on keeping on.

You will get into good routines. Things will get easier.

I know New Year Resolutions are mocked but if people need or want to try something more positive this year then I wish you all the very best in 2026.

Obviously it depends on your situation etc, but if you can cook the majority of the meals from scratch, it will help loads. Look at food from places like the middle east, they have some great tasting healthy food

The problem with low cal ready meals is they won't taste of much, or fill you up, and you'll find it a slog.

Also try 12 hour fasting each day if you can, dinner at 7, some fruit, breakfast at 7-8 the next day. It's quite doable and it helps with bloat a lot
