Can't believe the BBC headline was "shock no honour for Murray and Beckham".
Apparently the media had expected the two blerts to pick up knighthoods.
Knighthoods. Murray is 27 or thereabouts. He's finally cracked on and started winning big tournaments. Good lad. Now let's see him do that for a few years and then put in a decade or two helping the national game and coaching kids. Then he'd deserve a knighthood. Maybe.
And f*%#^>€ Beckham? A bang average player that rode a media wave that's screwed the whole country up this last 20 years with its celebrity obsession. And of course he banged that Rebeccca Loos tart.
Awards should mean something. There are thousands out there helping their communities and doing charity work. They are the ones that should get the knighthoods. Rant over!
