New Year, like it or loathe it ?

Rented a house in Cambridge for the night. Been out all day. Good few ale pubs at first, but ended up in a two for one cocktails place for missus and mates missus. Listened to loud music in the cocktail place. Shaggy, TLC, salt and pepper, princes purple rain, Madonna, Phil Collins, coolio, I’m just naming some of the songs/acts we heard now as I’m lying in bed. I was dancing like a [Poor language removed]. I am now going to sleep.

My daughter works behind the bar in a local nightclub... I hate this time of year when she works... I’ve warned her tonight to run as far as she can from any trouble... won’t settle now until I hear her getting home about 5 or 6 in the morning.

Hope she got back safe and sound mate. I used to work in clubs when I was younger, I I always felt that if you are going to be out there it's always safer behind the bar than in front of it.
