Anyone bought a new TV recently? After around a 55”.
Just looking at brands and trying to work out who does the best, Samsung, LG or Sony. 4K Ultra HD and all the rest.
Anyone got any recommendations.

We bought a Hisense a few months back.

Dont buy a Hisense.

Its a pain in the arse, couldn't set the virgin remote to work on it and Netflix doesn't work all the time.

Don’t know what sort of price you’re thinking of but those 3 brands are the ones you want to be concentrating on.

I’ve had a 55” LG OLED for about 4 years now and I love it. Will likely upgrade relatively soon and will probably go with them again.

This. We’ve got LG all throughout the house and you get a lot of TV, with good picture quality and reliability, for your pound.

I went to Richer Sounds and we were looking at Sony’s for mega money, and he told me to go to LG every day.

We have had Samsung's and never had an issue. They may discontinue things a few years after you buy them but it doesn't affect the performance.

Have one in the room that is 8 years old and works fine. The new one is dead easy to use and cost around 550 for everything inside.

Be a cold day in hell before I ever buy another Sony. Software was horrendous, it had to be on a minute before it responded to anything on the remote and support was "we have your money now."

Love our LG and have had a good experience with Panasonic.
