New shiney big arena,s or stadiums have no soul, arsenal's old Highbury ground had history atmosphere fans really close to the pitch successfull teams but they wanted bigger better moderner they got there wish,now there stuck in a stadium the fans don't really like it's expensive they,ve won [Poor language removed] all the teams have been crap,they got rid of arsene Wenger one of the most successful premier League managers ever they've fallen down the pecking order so new stadiums give u more income better facilities but you loose the bits that really matter atmosphere an soul can't be bought there lost forever,

So, why haven't we won the league in 30 years in an old stadium and Man City win it regularly in a brand new one?

I agree with most of what you say but every club needs income to exist and the more you generate the more success you can potentially reap.
Soul alone is not enough and never really has been.

after watching the NFL at white hart lane on the box over the weekend , you can tell that stadium has been specifically designed for NFL rather than football..

infact , the NFL journalists who were there were saying it rivals any of the US NFL stadiums... that says a lot as their stadiums are all immense

Its a fantastic stadium by all accounts, but in fact, it was designed with both sports in mind. The NFL wasnt a late knocked up idea bolted on. @Yid4life will no doubt confirm that the ground is changed quite a bit when NFL is in town.
