New Everton Stadium Discussion

Etihad never had a temporary track though. The stadium was built with 3 stands and a temporary stand.

True but I think the point stands that it's difficult to incorporate a running track in a football stadium design without compromising the atmosphere to some degree.

Please Mr Moshiri can we see some plans to shut down all this tedious running track fumery. If this thread has a theme tune it's Noel Harrison singing Windmills of Your Mind on a permanent loop.

The difference between, city, West ham and us is that we are paying for our ground and not being given it. So we won't have a track, we lose capacity if we do, which will cost us more in the long run (no pun intended)

Just trolls mate. It's their gimmick to pretend they're smarter than everyone else, and they try to belittle or make fun of people who threaten their self-appointed status of 'leaders of GOT'. They repeat the distrust and the tired unlikely outcomes to troll because they like fishing for replies. It amuses them. When people with genuine info post, they try to slap them down and discredit them, attempting to 'put them in their place'. There's about 4 or 5 of them, a little clique, they all stick together and try to bully people and gang up on them. It's actually amusing in a 'pity how sad they are' kind of way.

Tedious now isn't it how some on here have to try and put a negative spin on a positive situation. First it was that the club would opt for Stonebridge Cross and take the easy option. Joe Anderson said he had a preferred option which was the Waterfront but loads discounted that assumption as they'd rather revel in negativity.

We then announce that it's BMD which would presumably get nearly everyone on board but the usual suspects aren't content with that so now have to find something else to complain about. Even though Everton have been true to their word with regard to the Stadium since stating that BMD was the preferred location. Dan Meis has also reassured fans about his 'bowl' comment and said for the fans to trust the club.

It will be interesting to see what new thing they can find wrong with the plans once it's announced that there won't be a track involved impacting the design of the stands.

The negativity regarding our new stadium should be coming from other clubs, not our own fans. I'm confident that when more is revealed that the club will have signalled our intent to the rest of the league that we're here to challenge and not just make up the numbers like we've done since the late 80's. I've heard nothing to suggest so far that the fans will be unhappy with the outcome of the new Stadium.

Going to elaborate or do we imagine that North Korea has been using the place for nuclear testing?

Terry and his logs are right opposite Bramley Moore - Prime real estate. I can't see him survivng a visit from a few Russian/Iranian henchmen who will make him an offer he can't refuse. Either that or Terry will be going for swim in the Mersey

Terry is a massive blue who is already on record welcoming our new Persian overlord.

Just wait until our Chinese mates turn-up then. Terry may have acquitted himself well in the odd scuffle in the Caradoc on a Friday night, but he's no match for a bus full of bloodthirsty ninja's even if he does have a boss collection of DeWalt power tools.

Terry's a good scouser and bright as a button. Mankind has yet to build anything to outwit such a combination.
