Good set of clips, but the accompanying music is TERRIBLE!

A common occurrence. Why do people bother? Just put the bloody footy up and jib the music off.

I'm into my music big-time, and I'm sure I could pick ace tunes for that vid, but common sense tells me that somebody else will think they're crap. It's a video about Ross Barkley, ffs, why throw music into the mix?

If you're going to put music on it, it should be an everton song. Or commentary. That Slovakian Dubstep is awful thoigh.

Turned sound off.

Video shows that Hodgson was bang-on with his comments. Even now I am shouting at the screen "pass it"

As an ex Everton manager said to me recently, Ross just plays it as he sees it and always believes he is likely to do more with the ball than anyone else, unless everything looks closed off for him. That makes managers (RM aside) sweat. We had the same to a degree with Gravesen when he used to go off on a forward run, usually leaving a big gap uncovered behind him.

I think most coaches and managers obsess slightly about players who try stuff which doesn't come off or lose possession easily or don't win enough of own fair share of possession for themselves. Obviously mistakes lead to goals and people don't like a situation where other players have to be extra switched on to be prepared to cover the"error". Fortunately RM is more enlightened. Young skilful players will learn to try stuff and will in time learn the judgement required when to be more careful. Tremendous instinctive natural talent is Ross, decision making to follow in due course!

I will leave the thread up, cos the video is ace, but locked for further Ross based posts. Enough room for them in the main Ross thread.
