All these new posters outside the stadium of some of our stars from the past are eye catching but did anyone notice the one in Goodison Road with Nick "Judas" Barmby on. How long will it take before it gets defaced? The sooner the better for me

Were not the red [Poor language removed]. we tell our full history, not the edited highlighhlights.

132 years, start to now. Not beginning in 1959 like ive heard at the [Poor language removed]!

other posters can qoute how many 1st's, i just like to remind people that to judge how good a team is, judge it over a long period.

Jan 1st 1900-dec 31st 1999

who won the most games in the top division?

Who would be top of the league (top division )?

Obviously, we have had players we would rather forget, but a true history shows the good and the bad.

Why do you seem to wish someone deface part of our history?

Well said a2b - without the dark days we wouldn't be where we are now, without Smith we may not have found Moyes; without Johnson we would still be pulling crowds of 26,000 and have a dodgy away stand behind the goal. All these bad things have brought good. I hate Barmby but he was fantastic for us. I don't hate Rooney and his heart is still with us. We're not bitter so let's not give anyone reason to call us that. So what if we have former players on the stand? Most players have played for other clubs too - Dixie Dean, Dave Hickson, Alan Ball etc... They're a massive MASSIVE part of our heritage though. We are Everton, the biggest and the best!

If you remember Barmby declared an interest saying "he wanted to play for the [Poor language removed]" when Everton gave him a role that suited and benefited him and went on to get involved later with England then does the dirty on the club. You guys have short memories, were you clapping him when he scored two against us on his first Anfield Derby in a red shirt. I don't think so, Alan Ball never wanted away from Everton and how you can compare Barmby in the same breath as the others is beyond me

Short memories. Get a life, half brain

The posters are about our history.

If you want a team that only includes the bits of history that they deem nice, follow the red [Poor language removed]. i.e justice for the 96 but forget 36 (not sure if 39) dead Italians

I love and treasure our WHOLE history. warts an all
