Hate to spoil the Moyes love in,
but his articles like many others have support writers who trim and change it to suit.
This doesnt mean the bulk is not his writing, more the grammar is improved and made more readable (unlike my posts), and they cut out any bits which are considered boring to ensure the article fits a set word count.
If you dont believe me, feel free to email the times sportsdesk.
The written media do it for nearly all sport personality writers.

In my experience of these things, pretty much all articles 'written' by names are actually written by their PR person and then signed off by the name.

I didn't notice that at first, i would say its unbelievable but with Moyes it sadly is totally believable.

Its exactly as i said on the day, the different mentalities between the 2 clubs was clearly evident that day. And the difference between what Moyes writes in newspaper articles and what he actually does when the pressure is on is evident.

If you read what it says - he makes the point that a manager can tell the players not to sit back and be cautious til hes blue in the face, but the players automatically get more cautious and conservative.

Its easy to blame the manager for teams sitting back on a lead but very few of them ever want their teams to do it
